Yuzvendra Chahal-Mahvash: PBKS player spills the beans on his rumoured relationship with RJ Mahvash

Yuzvendra Chahal is in the news more off the field than on the field. The Punjab Kings (PBKS) leg spinner has had quite a year personally, which started with his divorce from Dhanashree Verma, and later his link-up with RJ Mahvash. There are several speculations that the player is dating Mahvash. However, in his latest interview with Raj Shamani, the former opened up about his relationship status.

The PBKS leg spinner has been spotted several times with the RJ, in matches, restaurants, and public places, sparking rumors of his affair with her. However, Chahal has stated that he is very good friends with Mahavsh, and there is no romantic angle involved in it.

"Mahvash and several of my close friends helped me deal with the divorce from Dhanashree. However, the media only portrays pictures of me & her. Several times, as a group, we have gone out on dinner and travel outings, but in the media it is always Mahvash and me who get pictured," Chahal said to Shamani.

Yuzvendra Chahal recalls break from cricket to rejuvenate himself

Notably, during his turbulent phase in his personal life, there was also a phase in his life when he took a break from cricket to rejuvenate himself.

"I asked for a break from the Vijay Hazare Trophy because I was not able to use my mind. Cricket gave me happiness, and continues to make me happy, and if I am not able to do that, then something is wrong, so I took a month-long break," he said.

Currently, the leg spinner is playing County cricket. After that, he is likely to be in contention for selection in the upcoming Asia Cup 2025 season, starting on September 09.

Recently, Mahvash opened up about how she handles an insane amount of trolling and said I don't get trash into my head and try to keep as calm as possible.

"It doesn't get to my head. I don't let it get to my head. Main restrict kar deti hoon. Main block bhi nahi karti kyunki tum dusre ID se ajaoge. Main restrict karti hoon taki mujhe dusro ki comment dikhe aur main approve ya unapprove kar saku kyunki mujhe comment bhi nahi kholna aur ek follower bhi nahi khona. So I restrict."
