India will be playing their last practice match before the five-match Test series against England against India A, starting on Friday, June 13. The practice match will be played in Beckenham. Speaking about India A, they have warmed up nicely as they have played two practice matches already against England Lions. In those two games, Karun Nair, KL Rahul, and Dhruv Jurel impressed. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal's lack of runs on both the games should concern the management.
Apart from the southpaw, all-rounders Shardul Thakur and Nitish Kumar Reddy have also looked extremely patchy. Skipper Shubman Gill, Sai Sudarshan, and Rishabh Pant are expected to get some much-needed game time against India A. Anshul Kamboj, who impressed in the practice games for India A, could pose a significant threat to Gill and other India batters in the intra-squad practice game.
