Kuldeep Yadav In The Mix At The Oval
As per reports in TOI, Kuldeep’s wait to play in the series might end in the Oval Test with the team management applying a wildcard approach with respect to Bumrah’s selection. Bumrah has almost bowled 120 overs in the Test series, including 33 overs in the Manchester Test.
While the wait continues in Bumrah’s case, Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep are sure to play in the fifth Test as per reports in TOI. If Bumrah plays, he will be the third seamer and if he doesn’t, then Prasidh Krishna will be a part of the playing XI. The management is unlikely to give Anshul Kamboj another opportunity as the selectors aren’t happy with his medium pace bowling. Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh is also in the mix after recovering from the injury on his bowling hand.
