After finalizing the schedule for the Asia Cup 2025, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has now confirmed the venues for the Continental Cup, scheduled to take place from September 9 to 28. The matches will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with the timings set to begin at 6 PM UAE and 7:30 PM in India, a prime time slot for Indian audiences.
The Continental Cup is set to be played for 19 days, featuring 19 games, with one instance of scheduling overlap. On September 15, the Asia Cup 2025 will witness two matches - UAE vs Oman & Sri Lanka vs Hong Kong. The first match will be played at 4:30 PM local time (6 PM IST), while the second match will be played at the usual time, 7:30 PM. Due to this race occurrence, two matches will overlap.

Speaking about India, the Suryakumar Yadav-led side will play their matches on September 10 (vs UAE), September 14 (vs Pakistan) & September 19 (vs Oman). India & Pakistan could play more than one match. Assuming the Asian teams finish as the top two teams in their respective group, they will clash again in the Super 4 stage on September 21. India's schedule for Super 4 games will depend on their position in the league stage.

Announcing the venues and timings, ACC President Mohsin Naqvi stated, "ACC T20 Asia Cup venues and match timings are out! Looking forward to packed stadiums and some truly breath-taking encounters." The ACC said in a statement, "With top Asian cricketing nations set to battle it out in one of the most anticipated tournaments of the year, the announcement marks a major step forward in the tournament's preparations. From iconic stadiums to passionate fans, the stage is set for thrilling action across the continent."

Eight teams will battle it out for the ultimate title to be called the Kings of Asian Cricket. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Oman, and Hong Kong have qualified for the tournament, to be played in T20 format. India is the defending champion of the Continental Cup.
In another development, the ACC is yet to finalize the production house for the Continental Cup 2025 event. In the previous editions, Star Sports - which also held the broadcast deals - was in charge of production. However, this time, Sony Sports is the new broadcast rights holder, as it bagged the deal for eight years. It is still not confirmed whether they will also be in charge of the production job.
